What Amazon actually charges you.
The 15% referral fee is the headline number. The other four fees — placement, low-inventory, storage, and fuel surcharge — are where most calculators stop and where most sellers lose visibility.
Referral fee — the headline number.
6% to 15% depending on category (most are 15%). Applied to total sale price including shipping. Minimum $0.30 per item.
FBA fulfillment + fuel
$3.30–$75.86 per unit by size tier. Plus 3.5% fuel surcharge effective April 17, 2026.
Inbound placement fee.
Charged per unit shipped to Amazon. Most calculators skip this. $0.21 typical for a 0.75 lb large-standard item on Partial placement.
Low-inventory fee.
Charged per unit sold when days-of-supply drops below 28. $0.32 to $1.10 per unit. Effective April 2024, still in 2026.
Monthly storage.
$0.87/cu ft (Jan–Sep), $2.40/cu ft (Q4) for standard size. Long-term surcharge after 365 days at $6.90/cu ft.
Fuel & logistics surcharge.
New surcharge on FBA fulfillment fees effective April 17, 2026. Calculated on the fulfillment fee, not your sale price. No end date announced.

How accurate is this calculator?
Fee tables are sourced from Amazon's 2026 published US schedule, verified against the January 15 2026 announcement and cross-checked with FeeYield's June 27 2026 update. Real Amazon statements can differ by ±2% due to aged-inventory surcharges, removals, returns, and product-specific overrides.
Why is my number different from Amazon's official Revenue Calculator?
Amazon's tool uses a simplified model that doesn't always include the Inbound Placement Fee or Low-Inventory Fee. Those two together can be $0.30–$0.70 per unit for low-stock standard-size items. Our calculator includes them by default.
Is my financial data sent anywhere?
No. All calculations happen in your browser. We do not log inputs, do not use analytics that fingerprint you, and do not store cookies beyond what's strictly necessary to serve the page.
